About the Producer
Unique Batik works with batik artists, sewers, and beaders in Ghana and weavers, sewers and beaders in Guatemala. Our goal is to bring fun-loving and modern clothing and accessory designs to the international marketplace.

We work with artisan groups that produce high quality products using the age-old artistic traditions of batik printing in Ghana and backstrap weaving in Guatemala. Also, we purchase beaded jewelry in both countries. Our business gives these artisans access to markets beyond their local villages. This work makes it possible for our partners to make a living, stay in their home communities and carry on cultural traditions. Unique Batik is a member of the Fair Trade Federation.
